A message from Steve Desroches:
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding the Canyon Walk Drive and Goldeneye Way intersection. I am pleased to report that the City will be installing all-way “STOP” controls later this Spring. As you may know, there will be more traffic at this intersection once the additional development is completed in the area east and south of the intersection.

(Excerpt from the EMC Community Newspaper article by Sheena Bolton on December 24, 2008) It was a tough choice this year for the judges of the Riverside South Community Association’s (RSCA) annual Christmas house decorating competition but after much discussion three houses were chosen as the best decorated. This year’s judges included Chris McLeod, president of RSCA, Scott Hodge, past president, and Gloucester-South Nepean Councillor Steve Desroches. The three travelled around the community on the night of Dec. 13 looking for exceptional displays.

Dogs in Parks Designation
Friday, 19 December 2008
Do you have an opinion on whether dogs should be allowed in our local parks? The City of Ottawa is in the process of reviewing the Ward 22 park designations to determine which of our parks will be designated as i) Dogs Allowed, ii) Dogs Allowed On-Leash, or iii) No Dogs Allowed. The City has applied its Dogs-in-Parks Designation Policy (DIPDP) and made preliminary designations based on its designation criteria.
