Ottawa police are asking for the public's help to identify three men wanted in connection to a violent bank robbery in the city's south end.

Police say a bank employee suffered minor injuries when three men held up a Scotiabank branch on Earl Armstrong Road in Riverside South at about 3:15 p.m. April 30. Police say at least one of the men was armed with a handgun.

As you may know, work on Riverside Drive between the Limebank/River Intersection and Hunt Club is progressing well this Spring due to fine weather and the work that was completed over the Winter months.

On May 7, 2009, traffic at this location will be shifted into the newly constructed lanes to allow work to continue on the project. Commuters should expect some delays during the traffic switch and are asked to reduce their speed in temporary detours.
