Melz Kids Village & Remix

I was called by the nice people of Melz that it looks like they are going out of business.  They said that a rent increase was coming and that a yoga studio was taking over their location.  All their stuff is on liquidation and anything they dont sell will go to their Glebe location which is staying open.  We arent happy they are leaving as it was nice to get clothes for our twins without having to get in our car.

Also while we were at the mall today, we noticed that the Remix Coffee shop business may be up for sale??  There is a "Business Opportunity" sign in the window, so just guessing here.  They charge an arm and a leg for everything in there I'm guessing to keep up with the rent.

I saw an add for Remix on Kijiji. It will be interesting to see what happens with it.
In regrds to the rent, you would think the developers would want to keep itsomewhat affordable so that the locations stay full?!?
 It doesn't look good to have half empty strip malls in a new community...
