Thanks for the switch! I LOVE these new boards...I use smf for another message board I'm on, and I love the format. It's so easy to use.

Thanks and good job!

The boards are all gobbledygook for me... Practically no formatting and no layout.  Am I missing something?

Do you know what the boards were like BEFORE? Much harder to use...we have much more "bells and whistles" now than we did before. I'm still a fan!

Used the boards all the time and stopped using them when the gobbledygook started....

That said, I just tried it with IE and it seems to work okay. Aargh... I just switched to FireFox this week!!

Haven't tried Firefox (at least not using these boards, or the other SMF board I use)....but I use IE and never have had a problem!

Is it better now on IE?

It isn't too bad, but I'll probably just put up with what's essentially a text only format to avoid switching browsers... Hopefully there will be a fix one of these days...

I use firefox for everything...only this site loses its style sheet settings...

To get around it, I added the "IE View Lite" add-on to firefox....when I go to Google reader to read my RS feeds, I right click on the header and then open it in IE using the add-on.....

I suggested the fix for this back in December.

The web host has to correct the server's mime type for CSS. It should be text/css, but instead it's coming as text/plain.

If the host cannot fix it server-wide (though they should because it likely affects others), you  may be able to fix it via .htaccess within the site:

AddType text/css .css

Hi Joshea,

I just tried adding the "AddType text/css .css" to the .htaccess file, but still no luck.  I also tried adding the following:

<Files *.css>
ForceType text/css
</Files>

If you'd like to troubleshoot the problem with me sometime in person, please let me know!

Thanks,
Mark.

Great!  I had to clear my Firefox Cache in order to get it working, but seems to be fine now.

Can anyone else confirm that the message board theme is now working using Firefox?

Thanks Joshea!!!
